In light of recommendations from The Department of Civil Protection and Emergency Management and in accordance with newly introduced regulations from the Ministry of Education, there will be a mandatory use of face-masks in all school facilities at Keilir Academy from 21 September 2020. Furthermore the administrative team at Keilir will encourage staff to work from home and put even more emphasis on distance education. 

 

Face-masks will be made available at Keilir Main Building, but people are free to wear their own masks instead.

 

These restrictions and recommendations are due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in Iceland the past few days and will take place until further notice.

 

We would like to stress the importance of following the general guidelines provided by the authorities (www.covid.is/english), wash your hands on a regular basis, use disinfectant and keep a distance of at at least one meter between people. If you feel any symptoms or illness, we encourage you to stay at home.
