A total of thirteen candidates from the Keilir and Thompson Rivers University adventure studies program graduated on 8 June at Andrews Theater in Reykjanesbær, Iceland. This is the fifth commencement class in the program since the first graduation in 2014.
Iain Stewart-Patterson, Senior Lecturer at Thompson Rivers University Adventure Studies, delivered a greeting from the university and Rajeev Ayer was awarded with best overall achievement with 9,12 grade average (out of 10) and received a gift GG sjósport in Iceland.
The Adventure Studies Program (Adventure Sport Certificate) in Iceland is on university level and takes only eight months, with half the time in practical training in locations all around Iceland. The education has received both domestic and international recognition the last few years with a total of 76 students completing the program in Iceland. This year international students arrived from such diverse places as Greenland, India, Chile, Canada and the United States as well as Iceland among other countries,
