Heated gardens project awarded

William Foley, research associate at the Center for Innovation and Applied Technology at Cooper Union in New York and visiting scientist at Keilir Institute of Technology, received an award at the Geothermal Resources Council Annual Conference 2015 for a research project involving Keilir Institute of Technology. The presentation was named "Autonomous Irrigation and Control System" and is designed to work with  heated gardens in Iceland and heated green roofs in New York.

The research on these technologies are lead by Professor Robert Dell at Cooper Union and visiting researcher at Keilir Institute of Technology.
