Adjunct Professor Robert Dell in Mechanical Engineering at The Cooper Union in United States, has been named a Visiting Scientist at the faculty of Keilir Institute of Technology.
Robert Dell will mainly focus on the use and utilization of geothermal energy and waste water, and is currently involved in research on using geothermal water for soil heating. As part of the project Keilir Institute of Technology is building a test site next to the Keilir main building for measuring the effects of heated soil on plant growth.
The Cooper Union is one of the most known and reputable colleges in the United States, and was recently ranked number one in Newsweek's 25 Most Desirable Small Schools and number seven in
Newsweek's 25 Most Desirable Colleges.
